14.07.11 Japanese port Nagoya newly amended incl. berths and developments

Nagoya is located on the south coast of Honshu, at the head of Ise Bay. This harbour is protected by high tide breakwater 5.0 km in length stretching from Chita Peninsula to bank of Kiso River at opposite side of harbour.

Equipped with various specialised terminals for containers, automobiles, dry and liquid bulk Nagoya's major imports include raw materials, LNG, iron ore and coal; Major exports include automobiles and industrial machinery.

Korsakov is the biggest seaport in the Sakhalin region and on Sakhalin Island in Aniva Bay at the southern extremity of the Okhotsk Seaand.

The port consists of two parts, the northern pier and the southern pier, each having a separate harbour. The Central Harbour is situated between the northern and southern piers and is more frequently used by fishing vessels.

Pasajes is located on the north coast of Spain in the Bay of Biscay, close to the French/Spanish border, approx. 4 km. from San Sebastian, within the estuary formed by the river Oyarzun.

The harbour offers good shelter and handles containers, Ro-Ro, bulk solids and liquids and general cargo.

Located on the east shore of San Francisco Bay opposite San Francisco, the US port of Oakland can be found, predominantly handling containers. The port has a railway intermodal terminal, including double-stack rail facilities and container storage areas.

12.07.11 New ACE report available for Etame Terminal, Gabon

Etame Terminal is located approximately 21 n.m. off the coast of Gabon, 205 n.m. SSE of Port Gentil and 100 n.m. NNW of Point Noire.

FPSO Petroleo Nautipa is permanently moored on a heading of 015°(T) by eight mooring legs deployed in a radial pattern, four from the bow, and four from the stern. Each mooring leg consists of 850 m. × 3 in. chain and drag embedment anchor. There are no anchor marker buoys. Two subsea production wellheads are located 500 m., 1,200 m. and 2,300 m. from the FPSO port side (amidships). Vessels are not permitted to approach within 1,000 m. of the FPSO's port side.

Facilities are located in the East Harbours (port of Marseille) or the West Harbours (Gulf of Fos). The port of Marseilles is a multipurpose port, handles Ro-Ro, containers, dry and liquid bulk and passengers.

It is the largest river harbour in the world covering a total surface of 1,000 ha., located on the right bank of the river between the Rhine at km. 774 and 781, the Ruhr Channel at km. 1 and the Rhine-Herne Canal at km. 1–2 and on the left bank of the Rhine River at km. 773 (Logport Logistics Centre).
