Australian port, Botany Bay, newly amended incl. restrictions and developments

Posted: 12th July 2011

Located 10 km. south of Sydney, Botany Bay is a large natural harbour that specialises in containerised and bulk liquid cargoes.

The northern shores are low and built over. The southern shores have mangrove swamps. A notable feature is the runway of Kingsford Smith Airport which extends into the bay from the north shore.

Changes to the information for Botany Bay are available under documents, max. size, restrictions, approaches, pilotage, pre-arrival information, tugs, berths, facilities (tanker and LPG/LNG), telephones and developments.
