Felixstowe is a major port handling containers and Ro-Ro. Trinity Terminal is the largest container handling facility in the UK, and one of the largest in Europe. The port is operated by Hutchison Ports (UK).

Thessaloniki is a large greek multipurpose port. On a yearly basis, Thessaloniki handles 16 million tons of cargo, 340,000 TEU, 3,000 ships and 210,000 passengers.

Toledo is a multipursose port which handles iron, coal, petroleum products, general cargoes, grain and passengers. It is located at the western most point of Lake Erie, 50 n.m. south of Detroit on the Maumee River.

The port of Iqaluit is a multipurpose port serving the Baffin Island community. Navigation season is mid-July to mid-October depending on ice conditions.

Dung Quat is a modern port serving Quang Ngai Province. Dun Quat Deep Sea Port is located on two sides of the bay. To the east is Gemadept container terminal, and Dung Quat Refinery (NM Loc Dau Dung Quat) product berths and offshore SPM handling crude oil. To the SW of the main port area is Dung Quat shipyard, Nha May Thep steel factory and berths.

As one of the major ports along the Yangtze River Changzhou is classified as a category 1 port. Port handles, bulk, break bulk, containers, chemicals, petroleum products, project cargo and finished steel products.

Hon Khoi

Galveston handles all types of cargo including containers, dry bulk, breakbulk, Ro-Ro, refrigerated and project cargoes and cruise.

Chiwan is a modern multipurpose port handling most types of cargo, however, this port in still ongoing further development.

Norway is located in Northern Eurpoe and shares a direct boarder with Sweden to the west and with Finland at the northern most region.

Hon Giang

Kesennuma is a small multipurpose port handling bulk liquids, breakbulk, Ro-Ro and general cargo. It is located on the east coast of the country, 11.5 n.m. SSW of Ofunato, and 33.0 n.m. N×E of Ishinomaki.

Located on the western coastline of Galveston Bay, to the north of Galveston and south of Houston, Texas City port is the eighth largest port in the USA and third largest in Texas on tonnage handled.

Primarily a tanker port handling both crude and refined products with one bulk coal terminal.

Anqing is a river port handling most types of cargo located on the north bank of the Yangtze (Chang Jiang) River in SW Anhui Province, approx. 440 km. (238 n.m.) 

Hatachinaka is a multipurpose modern dry cargo port handling bulk coal, breakbulk, containers, Ro-Ro and general cargo located on the east coast of the country, 4.0 n.m. south of Hitachi, and 32.0 n.m. north of Kashima.
