Bartin is located in northern Turkey, on the southern shore of the Black Sea, 140 n.m. ENE of the Bosporus.

Anchorage in Alaska, USA, comprises of three general cargo terminals handling containers and dry bulk and two tanker terminals handling liquid bulk. The port is open throughout the year and located NE of the Alaska Peninsula and NW of Prince William Sound.

Located 50 n.m. WSW of Kharg Island, Iran, Soroosh Terminal is the floating Storage Unit ``Soorena'', handling Soroosh and Norooz crude oil.

Bayonne, in the SE corner of the Bay of Biscay, is a multipurpose river port, handling dry and liquid bulk and Ro-Ro cargoes. Exports include maize, sulphur, timber and chemical products. Imports include bauxite, phosphate, timber, steel, fertiliser, methanol and chemical products. Facilities for cruise vessels can be found close to the city centre.

Fortaleza, located on the NE coast of Brazil, is a multipurpose port protected by a natural headland and a 1,900 m. long man-made breakwater.

The port exports canauba wax, cashew nuts, cashew oil, cement (clinker), domestic appliances, fresh fruit, limestone, leather, machinery and textiles. Imports include ceramic tiles, corn, machinery, petcoke, petroleum products, synthetic fibres and wheat.

Douglas is the main port of the Isle of Man providing extensive facilities for both commercial and private vessels. This port handles general cargo, oil and gas tankers, passenger and Ro-Ro vessels, fishing vessels, inshore ferries and pleasure craft.

Zarzis port, located at the SE point of the Gulf of Gabes, is the closest coastal town in Tunisia to the Libyan border. The port is protected by a breakwater, length 1,505 m., sheltering the port from the NE swell.

Geelong

A modern port handling dry and liquid bulk cargoes and cruise vessels, Geelong is located on the western end of Corio Bay approx. 40 n.m. SW of Melbourne.

Japanese port Kinuura is a multipurpose port, primarily involved in handling metal fabrication, vehicles for Mazda and Toyota, food stuff, coal and bulk liquids.

Goose Bay is a small seasonal port which is closed during winter months due to ice. It's located on Lake Melville, on the Labrador peninsula, in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

It handles passengers, Ro-Ro, general and bulk liquid cargoes.

This open roadstead port handling bulk coal, iron ore, steel products, grain, fertilisers and bulk liquids is located in the state of Espirito Santo, 12 km. north of Vitoria on the north side of Baia de Vitoria, Ponta de Tubarao.

Damietta port in Egypt has one of the largest LNG export terminals in the world and is one of the world's top 100 container ports. It handles bulk and general cargo.

Chah-Bahar comprises of Shahid Beheshti and Shahid Kalantari, the most important civil ports in the province of Sistan and Baluchistan. The ports handle general cargo, bulk, containers and tankers.

Located in SE Iran, facing the Sea of Oman. The Shahid Beheshti and Kalantari Jetties are situated on the eastern shore of Chah-Bahar Bay, 112 km. from Iran-Pakistan border.
