This large port on the western coast of South Korea handles major facilities terminals for LNG and chemical carriers.

Bandar Imam Khomeini is a multipurpose port and transshipment point for containers, bulk and general cargo located in the NW of the Gulf 36 n.m. from the border with Iraq.

The port handles approx. 50% of Iran's non-oil shipments. Bandar Imam Complex, to the east of the port, is a large petrochemicals plant. Additional tanker facilities are available at Bandar Mahshahr.

Dortyol

Dortyol is located on the north side of the Gulf of Iskenderun, in SE Turkey near the border with Syria. It comprises a small fishing harbour and a number of private offshore berths handling petroleum products and LPG.

Aviles is a port in the northern central area of the Asturias coast, 140 n.m. west of Bilbao.

Bremen port is divided into the Hemelinger Hafen, Neustadter Hafen, Holz-und Fabrikenhafen, Getreidehafen, Werfthafen, Kap Horn Hafen, Kloecknerhafen, Car Terminal and Industriehafen.

The Industriehafen is a non-tidal basin, located beyond the Oslebshausen Lock. All other areas of the port are tidal.

Main port activities are the handling of general cargo, containers, vehicles, bulk cargo, project logistics and forest products. The port has excellent communication links with the north European hinterland.

Suva port is located on the SE shore of Fiji's main island, Viti Levu. The port spans an area 2 km. in diameter and is a general purpose port handling container, reefer and general cargo vessels.

Gothenburg (Goteborg) is a combined river/seaport, the largest in the nordic area. It is sheltered from the North Sea by the Danish mainland and two overlapping archipelagos. The main cargoes include oil and general cargo (primarily unitised), forest products, bananas and trade cars. Some dry bulk also handled.

Melbourne

Melbourne is a multipurpose port and Australia's largest container and general cargo port, handling around 36% of Australia's container trade. The port handles more than 3,500 commercial ship calls each year, giving access to all major trading regions. Port of Melbourne Corporation (PoMC) is the Port Authority.

Lavan Island

Located approx. 10 n.m. off southern mainland Iran, Lavan Island is an Island jetty with two berths and an SPM located approx. 2 n.m. offshore. It handles export of Salman and Reshadat crude oil and is operated by the Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC).

It is directly bordered on the north by Armenia, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan but also by Kazakhstan and Russia by means of the Caspian Sea. To the east lie Afghanistan and Pakistan, to the south the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman and on the west Iraq and Turkey.

Holyrood is a petroleum storage depot located in the south arm of Canada's Holyrood Bay, at the head of Conception Bay on the SE coast of Newfoundland.

Kagoshima port, located in Kagoshima Bay, Japan, comprises of seven harbour areas: Honko-Ku, Shinko-Ku, Kamoikeko-Ku, Chuoko-Ku (Mokuzaiko, Minamiko and Marine Port Kagoshima), Taniyama-Ikku, Taniyama-Niku and Hama-Hirakawako-Ku.

The port handles passenger ferries, cruise, dry bulk, oil, LNG and general cargo.

South Africa is a country in Africa located at the southern-most tip. The country shares boarders with Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Swaziland and Lesotho, which is surrounded by South African territory. Both the Atlantic and Indian Ocean surround the country to the south and west.

Dieppe is a small port handling fruit, sand, gravel, passengers, Ro-Ro, forest products and bulk grain located on the north coast, 150 km. NW of Paris.

Esperance is a modern port handling dry, liquid bulk cargoes and containers, located in Western Australia, 325 n.m. ESE of Perth.
