The principal port of Kuwait for non-petroleum cargoes with a total land area of 320
ha. and water basin area of 1.2 million sq.m. It has 21 berths and handles containers
Ro-Ro, breakbulk cargo vessels and bulk carriers.
LOCATION:
On the south shore of Kuwait Bay (Khalijal Kuwayt), west of Kuwait City, in an area
that is part industrial and part rural, within the Al-Asimah governorate.
