Ortona, on the east coast of Italy, is an Abruzzo Regional Port, handling iron products, salt, fish, automobiles, chemicals, petroleum products, cement and plaster.

Port Muhammad Bin Qasim is a major deep-water port in Pakistan, handling bulk, containers, tankers, gas carriers and general cargo. Port is accessed through a draft restricted creek and channel.

San Francisco is a multipurpose port with facilities on San Francisco Peninsula and in Contra Costa County in the East Bay region. The port handles dry and liquid bulk, including petroleum and vegetable oils, automobiles, containers and general cargo. The port has dry dock facilities up to 66,000 tons capacity.

This anchorage port for Mozambique city is at the mouth of the Mozambique river and is controlled from Nacala to the north. 

Mokpo is in the SW of mainland South Korea and is a sheltered port on the delta of the rivers Yeoungsangang, Yeong-Am and Geumho. Mokpo handles dry and liquid bulk, containers, forest products, steel, vehicles and fishing together with ship building and repairs.

In February, 621 updates were made to over 350 ports, harbours and terminals around the world. 

2 new ports have also been included and 11 plans added.

Located on the east coast of India, Krishnapatnam is a modern all weather port commissioned in June 2008. The port handles iron ore, coal, and general cargo on completion of phase one. On completion of phase 3, this will include containers, petrochemicals and project cargo. 

Keelung is one of Taiwan's two major ports, the other being Kaohsiung. Keelung is a hub port handling all types of cargo, serving the capital Taipei.

Kisarazu is an industrial port with public and private berths handling large steelwork imports raw bulk materials, exports manufactured steel products. Other cargoes handled include timber products, LNG and other liquid bulk.

Jose, located in the state of Anzoategui, Venezuela, is a large petroleum and chemical area, with facilities for tankers, bulk carriers and container vessels. The Petrochemical Dock handles container and dry bulk. The Sincor Terminal handles pet coke, sulphur and bulk liquid.

Located on the east coast of Scotland, Inverness is a sheltered natural deep harbour, handling oil, coal, timber, processed timber, paper pulp, grain and other dry cargoes as well as cruise passengers. There is also a 150 berth yacht marina at the entrance to the port.

Located in Jinzhou Bay, NE China, is a multipurpose port, Basin No. 1 handling general and liquid cargoes and Basin No. 2 handling bulk ore, containers and general cargo.

Golfito is a regional port handling general cargo and bulk liquids, located on the Pacific coast in the Golfo Dulce, 127 n.m. SE of Puntarenas.

Abu Qir is an egyptian naval port with facilities for merchant vessels located on the west coast of Abu Qir Bay, on the Mediterranean coast approx. 30 km.

Located on the north coast of Tasmania, Devonport is a multipurpose port serving the cruise and tourist industries with modern facilities for handling dry and liquid bulk, general cargo, Ro-Ro, containers and livestock. Subject to siltation.
