Searching on Findaport.com
On Findaport.com you have a quick search and an advanced search facility available to you.
Quick Search
The quick search allows you to search by country and port name only.
Those ports, harbours and terminals which match the criteria you enter and will be displayed in the results box below this search bar. Selecting a port from this list will display the port's summary information and location on a map. Summary information includes:
- port overview
- port location
- country general information
- max. size
- fuel availability
- nearest airport
- nearest medical facilities
- current weather conditions
- map location
- port plans
Advanced Search
To access the advanced search please select 'Advanced' on the right hand side of the quick search bar. The search bar expands to reveal a greater variety of criteria for which you can search. These still include by country and port name, but also by location coordinates, facilities, cargo facilities and drydock facility sizes.
Those ports, harbours and terminals which match the criteria you enter and will be displayed in the results box below this search bar. As with the quick search, selecting a port from this list will display the port's summary information in the adjacent box and it's location in the map box.
For your convenience it is also possible to save your search for future use. Simply enter a name in appropriate field on the right hand side and select 'save'. You can find your saved searches on your 'Dashboard'.
Viewing Detailed Port Information
To view more detailed port information, select the port name in the summery box or on the map. For more information on the detail port information available, click here.
You will only be able to view the detailed information available if you have purchased a subscription.
