The primary imports are timber, ore, coal, scrap metal, chemicals and petroleum products.
The primary exports are cotton, animal feed, steel, cement and grain. Cargo is handled
as dry bulk, liquid bulk, containers and breakbulk. Shipyard facilities are also available.
LOCATION:
Facilities are located on the south side of Yangtze River, opposite the port of Yangzhou.
Zhenjiang, also known as Changjiang, is 135 km. west of Nantong and 225 km. NW of
Shanghai. Terminals are in the port areas of Zhenjiang, Dagang, Jianbi, Jurong and
Longmen.
