The port of Wilhelmshaven is a
Core port in the North Sea-Baltic and Scandinavian-Mediterranean Corridors in the European
Union's Trans-European Transport Network.
LOCATION:
At the entrance to Jadebusen, on the west bank of the river Jade, 120 km. west of
Hamburg. The port extends from the tidal berth at Alter Vorhafen, to the east of Wilhelmshaven,
to the town of Hooksiel, 15 km. to the north.
