OVERVIEW:
Tuzla Shipbuilding and Repair Industrial Zone is one of the Mediterranean's main ship
building and repair centres; 43 shipyards are located in Tuzla. GISAS handles the
tug, pilot and marine services for the port. Consists of two port areas, the main
repair/building port and smaller cargo and port craft basin, which also includes a
Ro-Ro terminal operated by DFDS
LOCATION:
In the Sea of Marmara, 15.6 n.m. SE of Haydarpasa and the Bosphorus.
