OVERVIEW:
Within the heart of the greater Tokyo metropolitan area with good road links to the
surrounding area and beyond. The port has facilities to handle various cargoes through
its many terminals. Cargoes include containers, frozen marine produce and lumber.
LOCATION:
On the NW side of Tokyo Bay, on the SE corner of Honshu. The port is located in the
area between the estuaries of the Arakawa and Tamagawa Rivers.
