OVERVIEW:
Port facility of Indonesian coal mining company PT Arutmin Indonesia comprising North
Pulau Laut Coal Terminal (NPLCT). Coal is transported to the terminal by barge from
the local mines at Senakin, Satui, Mulia, Asam-Asam and Batulicin for onward export
by seagoing vessel.
Senakin barges travel just 45 km. to NPLCT, a 24-hour round trip, while Satui, Mulia,
Asam-Asam and Batulicin barges travel 130 km., a 40-hour round trip.
LOCATION:
In SE Borneo in South Kalimantan province, at the NE tip of Pulau Laut.
