OVERVIEW:
One of the world's primary container ports. Having 14 dedicated container berths.
Operated by Port of Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP) and handling containers.
There are two other private port facilities owned (ATB Tanjung Bin Terminal) and operated
by VTTI, a joint venture by Vitol Group and MISC Berhad. Handles tankers at a single
T-head jetty having five berths. The other Tanjung Bin Power Station has an L-head
jetty with two berths handling bulk carriers.
Good road and rail links to Singapore and south Thailand.
