OVERVIEW:  The main port for the island of Rhodes, comprising a commercial port area (Akantia Port) and passenger port area (Tourist port)
The port of Rhodes is a Comprehensive port in the European Union's Trans-European Transport Network.
LOCATION:  In the eastern Aegean Sea, approx. 220 n.m. SE of Piraeus. The port is located on the northern tip of the island.
