OVERVIEW:  One of Russia's main oil export ports. It is open for navigation 24 hours a day all year round whenever the weather permits. Primorsk is linked to the port of Vysotsk by a pipeline.
LOCATION:  2.5 n.m. south of the town of Primorsk, in the eastern part of the Gulf of Finland which includes the southern part of Proliv B'yorkyozund therein. 55 n.m. WNW of St Petersburg.
