OVERVIEW:
The Port of Marseille-Fos is the largest port in France, fifth in Europe and the third
largest petroleum port worldwide. Facilities are located in the East Harbours (port
of Marseille) or the West Harbours (Gulf of Fos). Details also include the port areas
of Lavera, Caronte and Port de Berre. Handles dry and liquid bulk cargoes.
LOCATION:
On the south coast to the west of Marseille. Port de Berre lies in Etang de Berre,
approx. 7 n.m. NE of Port de Bouc.
