OVERVIEW:
Port consists of a finger pier handling general cargo vessels, small bulk carriers
tankers and barges and three transshipment anchorages handling nickel ore. The port
is owned by PT Aneka Tambang, a state mining enterprise and is supervised by the Indonesian
Government.
Primarily the port handles nickel ore via STS operations from barges.
LOCATION:
On the eastern shore of the Gulf of Boni in South East Sulawesi.
