OVERVIEW:
Plaju is a river port consisting of three districts Kertapati, Plaju and Sungai Gerong.
The port handles breakbulk, bulk coal, palm kernel husk, petrochemicals, products
and vegetable oils.
LOCATION:
Plaju is located on the south side of the Musi river with Kertapati 5.4 n.m. to the
west, Sungai Gerong 0.2–4.5 n.m. to the east and Palembang opposite on the northern
side of the river in South Sumatra, 60 n.m. from the Estuary.
