OVERVIEW:
A sheltered port owned by the City of Oulu and operated by Port Oulu Board. The port
comprises the three main areas of Oritkari, Vihrerasaari and Nuottasaari. Cargoes
handled include dry and liquid bulk, forest products, containers, Ro-Ro and breakbulk
The port is open throughout the year; with the assistance of icebreakers and fixed
ice-prevention systems during the winter.
