OVERVIEW:  The port comprises a commercial seaport known as Marine Terminal, an oil port known as Nakhodka Terminal, a bunkering terminal, a fishing harbour and ship repair facilities. Cargoes handled include forest products, metal products, grain, chemicals, machinery, paper, foodstuffs and petroleum products. Icebreakers are used during the winter to keep the port open. Rail links are available via the Trans-Siberian Railway.
LOCATION:  On Nakhodka Bay, 85 km. ESE of Vladivostock and 160 km. east of the border with China.
