OVERVIEW:  Comprising three berths serving Marsden Point Refinery, the port is New Zealand’s primary oil terminal. The port and refinery are operated by Refining NZ (RNZ).
LOCATION:  At the entrance to Whangarei Harbour, 20 km. SE of Whangarei and 170 km. north of Auckland. The port is on the western coast of Northland Province in the northern part of North Island.
