OVERVIEW:
The second busiest container port in the United States, Long Beach handles trade worth
approx. USD170 billion annually. The port also handles a range of other cargoes including
dry and liquid bulk, Ro-Ro, metals, forest products, breakbulk and project.
LOCATION:
Immediately to the east of the Port of Los Angeles in southern California, 100 miles
NE of San Diego and 370 miles SE of San Francisco.
