MYKUA

OVERVIEW:  A multipurpose, all-weather, deep water port, managed and operated by Kuantan Port Consortium Sdn Bhd (KPC) on behalf of Kuantan Port Authority. The port handles steel pipes, logs, sawn timber, fertiliser, wheat, flour, iron ore, coal, palm oil, vegetable oil, mineral oil, petroleum products, containers, breakbulk and Ro-Ro cargo. The port serves as the main gateway between the eastern economic region and Asia-Pacific ports Kuantan is home to several chemical and petrochemical manufacturing sites.
LOCATION:  At Tanjung Gelang on the eastern seaboard of Peninsular Malaysia, approx. 10 n.m. north of Kuantan city.
