OVERVIEW:
A multipurpose port, comprising facilities on the mainland and on artificial islands.
Cargoes handled include dry and liquid bulk, liquefied gas, passengers, Ro-Ro, breakbulk
and containers. The ports of Kobe, Amagasaki and Osaka are sometimes collectively
known as Hanshin Port.
LOCATION:
At the eastern end of the Inland Sea on the north shore of Osaka Wan, 30 km. west
of Osaka and 150 km. WSW of Nagoya.
