OVERVIEW:  A naturally sheltered multipurpose port, ice-free and open for navigation throughout the year. Klaipeda handles dry and liquid bulk, breakbulk, containers, passengers and Ro-Ro cargo. Approx. 65 million tonnes of cargo is handled annually
The port of Klaipeda is a Core port in the North Sea-Baltic Corridor in the European Union's Trans-European Transport Network.
LOCATION:  Berths are located along a channel linking the Curonian Lagoon (Kursiu Marios) to the sea, 120 n.m. NE of Gdansk.
