MYKEM

OVERVIEW:  A deep-water port protected by breakwaters. Cargoes handled include crude oil, petroleum products, chemicals, liquefied gas, metals, dry bulk and breakbulk. The port is operated by Eastern Pacific Industrial Corporation Berhad (EPIC), a Terengganu State Government linked corporation, through its subsidiary Konsortium Pelabuhan Kemaman Sdn Bhd, which provides marine services such as tugs, traffic control, pilotage and cargo handling services
LOCATION:  On the east coast of the Malay Peninsula, 27 n.m. north of Kuantan and 178 n.m. north of Singapore.
