OVERVIEW:
Port area that is undergoing expansion of liquid storage, breakbulk and finished products
handling. Kabil Port is within the Batam Indonesia Free Trade Zone (BIFZA).
Port handles breakbulk, dry bulk, liquid bulk (specifically oleochemicals), Ro-Ro
and project cargo. The port also serves as a base for the offshore oil and gas industry.
LOCATION:
On the east coast of Batam Island, on the south side of the Singapore Strait.
