OVERVIEW:
Comprises a multipurpose port area and numerous shipbuilding, repair and conversion
yards.
Jurong Port is a leading international multipurpose port with facilities in Jurong
East (on mainland Singapore) and the off-lying Pulau Damar Laut. Handles breakbulk,
bulk, containers, heavy lift, project, Ro-Ro and bulk liquids. Jurong Port is operated
by Jurong Port (Pte) Ltd. There is an FTZ area totalling 127 ha. (1,270,000 sq.m.).
Shipbuilding, repair and conversion facilities are located to the west of the multipurpose
port.
LOCATION:
On the southern coast of Singapore, to the east of the bridge connecting mainland
Singapore to Pulau Damar Laut and Jurong Island.
