OVERVIEW:
The principal port of the Emirate of Dubai comprising in excess of 70 berths and including
the Jebel Ali Free Zone. Port handles primarily dry and liquid bulk, containers, liquefied
gas and Ro-Ro cargo. Passenger vessels are handled at
Port Rashid.
LOCATION:
On the Gulf coast, 40 km. SW of Dubai and 90 km. NE of Abu Dhabi.

PORT LIMITS:
The area encompassed by a corridor 2.0 n.m. wide, covering the entrance channel, from
the coast to a point approx. 2.1 n.m. NW of the Jebel Ali fairway buoy, together with
the Outer Anchorage area.
