OVERVIEW:  A river port handling most types of cargo including dry and liquid bulk, containers, LPG, heavy-lift, passengers, reefer, Ro-Ro and breakbulk. The two main areas are Inner Port and Outer Port. Gdansk is one of the largest ports in the Baltic and is ice-free throughout the year. A duty-free zone is available.
The port of Gdansk is a Core port in the Baltic-Adriatic Corridor in the European Union's Trans-European Transport Network.
LOCATION:  Inner Port lies on the Martwa Vistula and Outer Port on the SW shore of the Gulf of Gdansk, 20 km. SSE of Gdynia and 290 km. NW of Warsaw.
