OVERVIEW:
A multipurpose port handling dry and liquid bulk, containers and project cargo and
an offshore terminal comprising four SPMs. It is an important bunkering depot, and
has an adjacent free zone. Approached through deep, obstruction-free waters. Ships
may anchor as close as 0.5 n.m. to port
LOCATION:
Port lies outside the Strait of Hormuz, on the eastern flank of the Arabian Peninsula,
overlooking Arabian Sea, 3 km. north of Fujairah town and 20 km. south of Khor Fakkan.
