OVERVIEW:  The Port of Marseille-Fos is the largest port in France, fifth in Europe and the third largest petroleum port worldwide. Facilities are located in the East Harbours (port of Marseille) or the West Harbours (Gulf of Fos). The port of Fos is a multipurpose port, handles dry bulk, containers, gas, general cargo and tankers.
The port of Fos is a Core port in the North Sea-Mediterranean Corridor in the European Union's Trans-European Transport Network.
