OVERVIEW:  Main cargoes handled are woodchips from a private facility and containers, bulk, passengers and general cargo from a multipurpose jetty. Fishing boats and offshore support vessels berth at shallower facilities in Snug Cove.
Management of Eden port is by Sydney Ports Corporation, which now trades as Port Authority of New South Wales following the amalgamation of Sydney, Newcastle and Port Kembla port corporations.
LOCATION:  Within the protected waters of Twofold Bay, New South Wales, 200 n.m. SSW of Sydney.
