A modern purpose-built port, sheltered by breakwaters and operated by Port of Duqm
Company (PDC). Duqm handles dry bulk, liquid bulk, breakbulk and containerised cargo
The port is a Special Economic Zone, anticipated to be fully operational by 2030.
Other facilities include drydocks and several repair berths.

On the shore of Khalij Masirah (Masirah Bay), 445 km. SSW of Muscat and 475 km. NE
of Salalah.
