OVERVIEW:  Regional port handling breakbulk, dry bulk, petroleum products, LPG, Ro-Ro and vegetable oils. Palm oil is handled at Lubuk Gaung.
LOCATION:  Port consists of two areas Dumai and Lubuk Gaung. The latter 6.5 n.m. NW of Dumai. On the west side of the Selat Rupat (Rupat Strait), and on the east coast of Sumatra, 53 n.m. SSW of Port Dickson.
