OVERVIEW:
A sheltered port comprising two conventional harbours and two SBM tanker berths. The
two harbours are Darsena de la Terminal de Usos Multiples (Multipurpose Terminal Harbour)
and Darsena de la Terminal de Abastecimiento (Supply Terminal Harbour). Cargoes handled
include dry and liquid bulk, project, breakbulk, offshore and crude. Cruise vessels
can also be handled at some cargo berths. Handles in excess of 8,000,000 tonnes per
year

On the southern shore of the Gulf of Campeche, approx. 60 n.m. ENE of Coatzacoalcos.
