OVERVIEW:
Industrial port and Mexico's largest port in volume terms. Handles primarily dry and
liquid bulk cargoes. Comprises 1,943 m. of quayage at the Port Authority facility
(Recinto Fiscal) in Coatzacoalcos, and a petrochemical complex in neighbouring Pajaritos
LOCATION:
At the southern-most point of the Golfo de Campeche, on the west bank of the Rio Coatzacoalcos.
Pajaritos is located immediately east of Coatzacoalcos.
