OVERVIEW:  A naturally sheltered port, handles dry and liquid bulk, breakbulk and containers There are also many berths handling small local fishing boats and passenger ferries.
LOCATION:  At the head of Bahia de Buenaventura on the west coast, 80 km. NW of Cali and 340 km. WSW of Bogota.
