OVERVIEW:  Comprises two single buoy moorings, designated Bintulu SBM B1 and SBM B2. SBM B1 is operated by Petronas Maritime Services Sdn Bhd and handles oil loading. SBM B2 handles condensate loading and is operated by MISC Maritime Services Bhd Sdn on behalf of Petronas.
Three grades of crude oil are exported from Bintulu Terminal. Bintulu Crude Oil (approx. API 37.0), Bintulu Light Condensate (approx. API 64.0) and Bintulu Spiked Crude (i.e. crude/condensate blend – approx. API 44.0).
LOCATION:  The SBMs are about 4.5 n.m. from the shore but within the Bintulu Port Authority harbour limit on the NW coast of Borneo.
