OVERVIEW:
The port is the main growth port on the NE corner of the Bohai rim. It serves eastern
Mongolia and Liaoning province and falls under the jurisdiction of Ying Kou port,
part of the Liaoning Port Group. Primarily built on reclaimed land. Cargoes handled
include both wet and dry cargo. The port may be closed due to ice conditions during
the winter months.
Xianren Dao is a developing port area immediately to the SW of Bayuquan.

22.5 n.m. south of Ying Kou in Liaodong Bay of Bohai Sea; Bayuquan is a district of
