OVERVIEW:
The port handles breakbulk cargo, liquid and dry bulks, oil and gas, specialist cargo,
Ro-Ro and cruise traffic. Most berths are accessed via locks; Belfast Berth is located
on the Walney Channel and outside the locks.
LOCATION:
On the NW coast approx. 40 n.m. north of Liverpool, on the west coast of Morecombe
Bay.
