OVERVIEW:
A river port handling petroleum products, LPG, chemicals, phosphate rock and breakbulk
cargo. Petroleum products are received from the National Iranian Oil Company’s refinery
at Abadan.
LOCATION:
At the northwestern end of the Gulf, approx. 5 n.m. NE of Bandar Imam Khomeini. Bandar
Mahshahr lies on the Khor Mahshahr, which runs from the head of the Khor Musa.
