One of Panama’s main hubs and Central America’s primary transshipment facility. Cargoes
handled include dry bulk, breakbulk, Ro-Ro, containers and petroleum products. Cruise
vessels are handled at nearby Fort Amador. The port operates under the jurisdiction
of the Panama Canal Authority (ACP).
