Concarneau port, France, updated incl. max. size and connections

Posted: 1st April 2011

The port of Concarneau includes the port of La Croix located to the west of La Croix Lighthouse, and an outer port and an inner port separated by the peninsula on which is Ville-Close. The Lanriec Passage connecting the inner and outer port areas is maintained at depth 3.0 m. and marked by five light towers.

The port comes under the jurisdiction of the Departement du Finistere and is essentially a fishing port. Commercial vessels need prior authorisation of the Port Authority, who will prepare a quay berth for them in advance.

Information amendments for this port can be found under port limits, documents, max. size, pilotage, anchorages, pre-arrival information, berths, facilities, connections and telephones.
